Gated for security as well as privacy, when entering the first thing you notice is the 16,000 gallon kidney shaped pool measuring 30 ft.x 15ft. including slide and waterfall with the deep end of 6 ft. Poolside is a full kitchen including tiled counter top and bar seating, cozy and very functional. The night time setting is just awesome, the lighting and plants accent the covered dining room with original Banana Co. antique ceiling fans lend a nice affect to the open air setting backed by an impressive Jungle wall-mural. A separate construction includes the bathroom and shower, and more tropical plants.
The house is two levels, the top floor is the main living area measuring 2300 sq. ft. the kitchen stands as the main focal point , very unique and very large, the rise to the ceiling is about 18’ a handsome teak ceiling and chandelier are quiet impressive and lends a nice affect to the tropical feel. There is abundant cupboards and drawers topped by several granite counter tops.. Six adults could easily co-mingle here and there would still be room for four more sitting at the wrap around dining counter-top. The hexagonal shape is most attractive and opens onto the front deck which spans the length of the front of the house and is about 58 ft. long x 6 ft wide, overlooking the pool below. The jungle covered mountains in the background are quite impressive as clouds drift in and out of the rainforest canopy.
The top floor consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 include a private bath, the 3rd bedroom has a shared bathroom opening to the foyer/living room area.
The master bedroom has a recessed ceiling above the king sized bed and measures 19 x 14 feet. The remaining two bedrooms have two full size beds and measure 15.5 x 11 feet and 14 x 10 feet. Plenty of closet space is available and the master bedroom has a large walk-in. All beds, dressers and end tables are included as well as a/c units in all bedrooms.
The large living room has a 48” flat screen TV with sofas, stereo and assorted tables and lamps. The angle shaped living space is attractive and measures over 26 feet in length x 9 feet in the foyer area and 19 feet wide in the TV lounge area. The large front windows looking out toward the pool and the jungle covered mountains are from floor to ceiling, creating the feeling of more space. Six foot sliding glass doors open to the front deck running the width of the house. Hunter ceiling fans and separately room controlled a/c units as well. All window frames are bronze aluminum with slightly tinted glass.
There are 3 stairways to the outside and the two bedrooms off the back of the house also have their own outdoor deck and entrances from the rear of the house as well.
The first floor of the house has separate living quarters. The furnished living and dining areas again are large and spacious…………also with large flat screen TV, full kitchen large granite counter tops and all appliances included. One room has a full and a twin bed at present; the other bedroom has two full size beds and a large attached bathroom. Both rooms have a/c units as well as the living room.
Laundry room equipped with washer and dryer. The back yard also has several fruit trees and is fenced. Two car Garage is on the first floor level.
Home is completely furnished. Total bed space= 13 persons, eight televisions throughout the house 5 of them are large flat screens.
B&B Potential. This would make a perfect B&B, since there are none in Golfito and being next to the pricey Casa Roland Rooms could easily draw up to $70/night or more.
