We fill up the tank and save a few bucks compared to CR prices.
Another advantage of owning here is the closeness to the Pacific Coast, you are at least 25 minutes closer to the Pacific Coast or more than if you lived in San Vito.
You’ll have a choice when it comes to shopping, you can either drop down to Ciudad Neily which is comparable to San Vito and depending how one drives you can be down in about 20 minutes v.s. driving to San Vito 25 minutes away. If you are missing the tropical heat, then its only 20 minutes away! And again, this would be the route you would take if you want to go to Golfito and the Airport for 45 minute plane ride to San Jose v.s. 5.5 hrs driving to San Jose. The Pacific Coast heading to Zancudo Beach or for Suring in Pavones is this same route.
We like this end of the highlands as I said if you enjoy the Pacific Coast then one is that much closer than driving all the way from San Vito, many of the country options around San Vito you can add on another 30 minutes if you live on the other side. So you’ll be saving as much as 1 hour driving time if you enjoy hitting the beaches. Roads too are improving near the Coast, roads are being paved so the trip to the beach will be possible for day trips. Leave the farm at 5 a.m. you’ll be surfing before 7………IMPORTANT STUFF!
Many properties are related to cost per meter……..$20-$30 can be in line with most lot prices whereas this property is coming in at $4.00 a sq. meter.
At one time there was coffee being grown, but the property is now owned by extended family of the previous owner and they live in the states and are not farmers………hence they would like to sell.

Again the Volcan View is great and about 27 miles in a straight line, Baru Volcano Panama.
Agua Buena will be the closest shopping area, no banks but it’s a small town, idyllic really, but they have one of the popular BM supermarkets, one of the best hardwares around too, so for quick food supplies and building materials Agua Buena is perfect, only 10 mins away ….bakeries too.
Also popular is Wilson Botanical Gardens…20 minutes away and like I said, heading to San Vito 25 minutes you’ll find Italian food and it’s a agricultural town, so this is a perfect spot………..run up to San Vito or down to the Pacific Coast.
